Are you interested in incorporating the Teaching with Cases Method into your classes, but aren’t sure how to get started? In this workshop participants will gain a better understanding of the case method by experiencing the steps in the case teaching process using a sample case. Activities include individual reading of the case with guiding questions, structured small group discussion, and whole group discussion.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Describe how teaching with cases differs from other teaching tools/methods
• Describe the characteristics of a good case
• Prepare a case method teaching plan
