eLearning

eLearning is a broad concept. It ranges from minimal use of technology in an otherwise traditional classroom through to complete online deliver of a course or even an entire program. York University, through the AVP Teaching and Learning Office, has developed descriptive terms to identify eLearning strategies and facilitate conversations about the range of possibilities for innovative use of technology in teaching and learning (York University, Common Language for eLearning, 2014).  eLearning is defined as the development of knowledge and skills through the use of information and communication technologies to support interactions for learning with content, learning activities and with other people.
